LIFE responds to current COVID-19 Coronavirus Outbreak – Friday 3rd April 2020
LIFElabs has been monitoring the situation closely in terms of the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic and the forced interruption and impact this is having on the company’s capacity to function effectively. We are currently mobilising all of our resources and implementing the required safety measures to ensure all our key workers remain safe and well. This is in an attempt to support LIFE’s long term strategic efforts and fight against the growing global pandemic, whilst playing our part in helping to prevent any further spread of the virus.
LIFE will also look to support, as best we can, the needs of our customers, consumers, partners, employees, families and communities during these extraordinary times. We would like to send our thoughts and best wishes to all those who have been impacted by the outbreak across the globe. These are worrying and challenging times for us all. But, what we do know is, we are extremely proud of what we have achieved in such a small amount of time – working with our partners, governments and worldwide charities to make a real difference with our family of products and services.
We are resolute and determined to get through this as a business and like after every other global crisis, we plan to emerge stronger, more resilient and more unified than ever before. We will constantly monitor this rapidly changing situation both here in the United Kingdom and across the world and will look to take the relevant action and guidance from government and health officials, adapting our efforts and responses as needed.
Behind the scenes we have focussed, what are now, limited resources on product and technology development – the impact of Coronavirus has taken effect only in the short term, we hope. Company updates will be released over the coming weeks and when these are announced we hope to show our loyal customers and partners the depth of work that will look to position us an innovative force to be reckoned with. Just one example we can share at this stage is that over the period of Q1 2020, we have been working on token issuance and payment rails for multiple piloting programmes with future sovereign nation adopters. More exciting details to follow on this soon…
For now, we are tied up in securing the team’s economic health. All strategic meetings with governments and other stakeholders are being placed on hold because of the nation lockdowns. Remote business liaisons will continue to progress maintaining our current company partnerships.
LIFElabs has suspended all company staff travel until further notice, following all necessary steps in full accordance with the advice from the World Health Organisation and governments in the localities for whom we work with. We are looking forward to the restrictions on worldwide travel being lifted, and re-energising the business as soon as we are in a position to do so.
Thank you for continuing to support us during this unknown and unprecedented time. We rely on our LIFEfans both new and old to help drive us through the following months, ensuring the company has huge success over the many years to come.
